Just when I thought I had uncovered every culinary secret in the Garden State, this little gem comes along, and it's a good one.

My family got together for a Mother's Day brunch, and we were all going to meet at a place in Hamilton called Spigola Restaurant and Bar.

It's a nice-looking restaurant on Crosswicks Hamilton Square Road in Hamilton. Let me tell you about this place.

The inside is beautiful, with a gorgeous bar and an abundance of room for comfortable seating. The decor is gorgeous and simple.

I ordered something that may have been added to the menu for Mother's Day, since I don't see it on their regular menu, but it was so amazing, I have to tell you about it.

I saw the incredible Lobster Ravioli on the menu, and I was set to go with that, but then something caught my eye. They also had a dish called Short Rib Ravioli. Wait, what?

That sounded too good to pass up, so I changed my mind and went with it. Not only had I never had that dish, but I'd never even heard of it.

When it arrived at the table, I couldn't wait to dig in. There were tender chunks of short ribs atop the short rib-stuffed raviolis, and I was in heaven.

It was absolutely delicious, just like all the other possibilities on their strong menu. If you've never been to this outstanding restaurant, you need to give it a try soon. You and your family will love it.
